Why haven’t any members replied to my messages?

Some members created their profiles a long time ago and, despite receiving e-mail notification, don’t reply to messages – or exclude their profiles from searches. An activity status report in every profile shows the last time that particular member was online via the platform. Members with a green activity status are much more likely to reply to inquiries.

Even members with a green activity status need a few days to reply. If the settings have not been changed, they receive an e-mail as soon as they are sent a message. However, it’s not always convenient to react immediately, and sometimes these mails end up in spam folders, so they only see your message the next time they log in with Hondenlief.

Tailor your message to the recipient, and try to take his/her profile content into account and reference his/her preferences. Introduce yourself in detail and say why you are interested in his/her profile in particular.

Don’t hesitate to message ten or twenty profiles. Many users are only interested in one single dog-sharing partner, so they will probably not reply to everyone.
