How do I find suitable dogs in my area?

Click on the magnifying glass symbol on the bottom task bar to search for dogs in your area. Make sure you have selected dogs in your filters and, if necessary, activate other filters for a more specific profile search. It’s also possible to...

• Sort results: according to distance from home, profiles most recently online, or most-recently created profiles. Click the tabs: distance, online or new
• Specify a maximum distance: This can only be selected for sorting according to online or newest. If you sort according to distance, you will see all available profiles – from the nearest to the furthest.
• Search for profiles with a photo: If you only wish to view dog profiles with a picture, activate this filter.
• Restrict search to active members: Only see members who have been online in the past days, weeks and months. The probability of receiving a reply is greater.
• Search for Premium Members: Activate this filter to restrict your search to Premium Members who have proven they are serious by paying for the service.
• Size of dog: All the available breeds of dogs have been divided up into small, medium and large. This is your chance to specify your preferred size.
• Additional filters: There are numerous other fine-tuning search options, such as only showing dogs of owners who have dog insurance, only showing dogs available at the times you specify, profiles stating whether overnight stays are permitted, whether the dog gets on with kids, cats and other dogs – and lots more.
• Search in another area: Our standard search is set to the home address you provided when creating the profile. However, you may need to search from a different reference point if you have a second home, or can collect a dog from your place of work.
