How do I find suitable dog borrowers in my area?

Click on the magnifying glass symbol on the bottom task bar to search for dog-sharing enthusiasts in your area. Make sure you have selected dog borrowers in your filters and, if necessary, activate other filters for a more specific profile search. It’s also possible to...

• Sort results: according to distance from home, profiles most recently online, or most-recently created profiles. Click the tabs: distance, online or new
• Specify a maximum distance: This can only be selected for sorting according to online or newest. If you sort according to distance, you will see all available profiles – from the nearest to the furthest.
• Search for profiles with a photo: Activate this filter if you only wish to consider profiles of people prepared to show their faces.
• Restrict search to active members: Only see members who have been online in the past days, weeks and months. The probability of receiving a reply is greater.
• Search for Premium Members: Activate this filter to restrict your search to Premium Members who have proven they are serious by paying for the service.
• Additional filters: There are numerous other fine-tuning search options, such as restricting results to people with prior caring and sharing experience with dogs, specifying the times you would need support, whether dog borrowers can take your dog overnight, whether they have children or their own dog(s) – and lots more.
• Search in another area: Our standard search is set to the home address you provided when creating the profile. However, you may need to search from a different reference point if you have a second home/apartment, or need your dog to be picked up from your place of work. Click on the map symbol on the bottom task bar. Click any preferred point on the map from which you would like to search.

Dog owners can also search for other dogs and owners! You may wish to split your care responsibilities with another owner, or perhaps walk the dog together.
